A profile can now be built from scratch \u2014 photo, patter, even voice \u2014 without a single human being sitting behind it.<\/p>\n Here’s the good news: every one of these setups shares the same weak spot, and it hasn’t moved. Below are the tells, and then the one test that settles it.<\/p>\n \u00ab\u00a0You seem like a genuinely nice person.\u00a0\u00bb You haven’t said anything yet. Real conversations start from something specific \u2014 a line you just typed, the name of the room, a reply you made to someone else.
